I went to see Two for the Money yesterday. Absolutely overwhelming movie.
The plot is terrific.

Last Fridayafter a little preliminary drinking , we went to a fine restaurant downtown called Bolciano to celebrate niek's anniversary.

Niek was recommended the chicken florentine, which was great, I had a hard time deciding on the menu, because everything looked phenominal, but finally decided to go with the carpaccio.
The food was excellent. If you ever make it there, their lasagne is to die for.

I expected a wonderful movie because I heard a lot about this movie. So last night niek and I saw The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till.
Keith Beauchamp's direction was stellar.

I sat spell bound for the entire evening!

Just saw 'MirrorMask'. It's not easy to tell you how I felt about it. Stephanie Leonidas is awfully bad. Stephanie Leonidas did just an awful job too. But the plot is decent. It's compelling and moving.

I really believe that anyone who disagrees with me is crazy!

The script and the cinematography are just enthralling.
They pulled it off in spades!

Last Thurday I downloaded the new Common album. If you are into hip hop this disc is something for you.
Maybe I had completely incorrect assumptions about Common. This album convinces me, though.
The CD strikes a chord everytime I play it. It stands up to to many repeated listenings. Repeated listenings do infuse the melodies into your brain.
I'm not sure why people bother with hidden tracks, this CD has one too.

Yesterday joris and I went to a Mexican restaurant near the railway station called Don Ricardo's for lunch. A colleague recommended it to joris. We had to wait for 10 minutes before we could get a table.

Joris thought the chalupa tasted delicious, I had the chimichanga.
I had a great time. The place has a nice atmosphere. If you ever make it there, their tacos is to die for.
